Frequently Asked Questions

What is Islam?

Islam, the final revelation sent by Allah ﷾ (God), offers guidance to all of humanity through the Qur’an and the Hadith (sayings and traditions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ). At its core, Islam calls for the worship of the One Creator without partners, while honoring all prophets, including Jesus, Moses, Abraham, and Muhammad ﷺ, peace be upon them all.

Throughout history, Allah ﷾ would grant miraculous signs to His prophets in order to make clear the true divine origin of their teachings. This website seeks to present a collection of these proofs, with a focus on fulfilled prophecies.

Where is the evidence for Islam?

One may wonder about the Abrahamic religions: If the prophets before us had clear signs and miracles, is it not unfair that we live in a time without prophets or visible signs, yet we are still expected to follow their teachings? As you continue to read the articles on this website, it will be proven to you that there is evidence for us today. You will see that we do have signs, prophecies, and proofs that can be confirmed without a doubt, and that we are in the same situation as those who lived during the times of the prophets.

I’ve seen prophecies before, how are these any different?

Imagine if someone told you it would rain tomorrow somewhere on Earth then claimed it as a prophecy. Such a prediction is one that anybody can make and expect to come true. This raises the question: what distinguishes a true prophet from any ordinary person? There are multiple criteria that can be used to determine a true prophet. While each and every prophecy might not meet all criteria mentioned, what matters is the general trend of a claimant's corpus. Below is a checklist that can serve as a guideline:

  • First of all, their prophecies must be unintuitive. It cannot be an event that is expected to happen or easily predictable.

  • Second, their prophecies should be risky. This means there must be a possibility for the prophecies to end up being false. An example of this is to give a specific time frame for a prophecy to occur.

  • Third, it must be specific. Meaning it should not be a vague statement which can have any number of different interpretations. That would allow reinterpretation of a prophecy to fit any and every situation.

  • Lastly, a true prophet cannot get a single prophecy wrong. This is important because a prophet should have certain knowledge of what they prophesize. It would not make sense for someone given knowledge from the divine to then sometimes be wrong and sometimes be right in what they attribute to God.

Islam fulfills all these criteria and outclasses any other religion as will be demonstrated throughout this website’s content.
